Colm Magner is a Canadian actor, writer, and director. Colm Magner has worked in theatre, television, and film in Canada since 1982. Described in The New York Times as "an active creative force"(nytimes.com-critics notebook- Reconstrucing a Bygone Elite and its Follies, by Peter Marks- Colm Magner as Bill Walker), Magner has worked at many theatres across Canada, including The Shaw Festival.
He has acted in over 30 Film and Television productions, including Keep the Faith Baby with Harry J. Lennix, Eloise at the Plaza with Julie Andrews, and Frequency with Dennis Quaid. He has written three monologues for the stage "Smoke" ("Memorable performer"- John Caplan, NOW Magazine), "Dark Avenue", and "Inside Imogene", all of which were produced in Toronto.
Magner presently lives in Prince Edward Island where he teaches drama at The University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI Archives) and is active in the PEI theatrical community.
