College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

The College of Physiotherapist of Ontario (Also known official in French as Ordre des physiothérapeutes de l’Ontario) is the governing body in the Canadian province of Ontario responsible for the setting and regulating guidelines, policies and licensing for Ontario physiotherapists. The College of Physiotherapist of Ontario was founded in 1955 as "The Board of Directors of Physiotherapy"[1]. The name was later change under the "Physiotherapy Act, 1991" to its current name.[2]
