The world is heading towards computerization and the powerful role that information technology plays toward this end is inevitable. The College of Informatics and Computing Sciences of the Batangas State University ARASOF was conceived to take charge of training BSU students in the field of computers to better equip them in keeping up with the pace and magnitude of change in today’s modern world. The CICS five-year modernization plan runs tandem with the university’s thrust to be the government’s partner in national development. With the state of the art computer hardware and software, as well as multimedia facilities to support modern instructional techniques, the BSU-CICS aims to produce versatile and globally competitive graduates capable of utilizing both modern technology and the Internet to their best advantage.
