The College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar (CETB), is a major college of engineering in Bhubaneswar, India. Celebrating it silver jublee this year, it's the latest but the most dynamic government engineering college of Orissa.

Established as College of Engineering & Technology of Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT)in 1981, CET Bhubaneswar was recently made as the constituent college of [Biju Patnaik University Of Technology (BPUT),Orissa].From a small shared campus to the present day sprawling 100 acre lush green campus of its own, these 25 years are the chapters of its success. How ever the old campus is still functioning as the architecture department. BPUT

The college offers 4 year B.Tech. degree in 7 disciplines of engineering and 5 year B.Arch. degree. It also offers 3 year MCA,2 yr. M.Tech. course in certain disciplines of engineering and 3 years B.Tech for Diploma Holdres as lateral entrys. Each academic year consists of two semesters and a summer term. The education system is organised around a credit system, which ensures continuous evaluation of a student's performance and provides flexibility to choose courses so as to facilitate progress at an optimum pace suited to one's ability or convenience. Each course is assigned certain number of credits depending upon the class contact hours.

The college hosts its annual cultural extravaganza,XTASY every year in the month of January with a gamut of events that showcases the very best of creative impulses amidst students from all over the country.
PERCEPTIONS - the annual technical meet precedes XTASY,that provides all the budding "Kalam"s of the country to share their take on technologies that fascinate and propel these budding Technocrats.

Besides these the Literary Society of the college, Cetadel takes care of the Literary,Quizzing,Creative Writing, JAMming,Debating,AD making abilities of the CETizens. Cetadel is also responsible for the publication of the annual college magazine, The Engineering Herald.Cetadelites meet regularly to enjoy the events and to satiate their Right brains.
Cetadel has four functional units run by four different functional heads the units are : - Blahsphemy [Debates, JAMs, TurnCoats, Extempores, GDs, Open Houses etc.] TimbuQtu [Quizzing, Dumbcharades,Antakshari etc.] Adinfinitum[Jingle making, Ad making, Poster making, Anti Publicity, Product packaging etc.] WordsWorth[Creative Writing,Book Review,Spin the yarn, Story Telling etc.]

CSE branch started in the year 2000 in CET.Headed by Dr. P.K.patro it is one of best branch in terms of academic and placement performences.It has strength of 66 per year.
