The College Fed Challenge competition is similar to the National Fed Challenge high school competition, except that the presentation time (20 minutes) as well as the Q&A (15 minutes, more depending on region) tend to be longer. Also, while the high school competition occurs in the spring, the College competition occurs in November.
Northwestern University won the first three Nationals competitions, from 2004-2006. In 2007, the team from Harvard University placed first in Nationals.
Prize money is provided by the Moody's Foundation.
