Colleen Farrington (born Colleen Scott in 1936 in Davisboro, Georgia) is an American model and nightclub singer. She is the mother of Academy Award-nominated actress Diane Lane. She was also Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its October 1957 issue.
During her Playboy photo shoot, Colleen was actually pregnant with her first child. Her pictorial also is notable because she has photos as a blonde, a brunette, and a redhead.
Before becoming a Playmate, Farrington was a fashion model in New York City and was a particular favorite of fashion designer Oleg Cassini. She eventually married acting coach Burt Lane and divorced him in 1965, shortly after her daughter Diane was born. She later settled in Georgia.
