Colin MacIntyre is a Scottish singer, song-writer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. MacIntyre, with the group Mull Historical Society, has released and toured worldwide three critically acclaimed albums: Loss (2001), Us (2003) and This Is Hope (2004), and has achieved four UK Top 40 Chart hits and two UK Top 20 Chart albums. MacIntyre has been named Scotland’s Top Creative Talent at the Glenfiddich Spirit Of Scotland Awards. His new album, The Water, was released on 4 February 2008 reaching no. 36 in the Indie chart, and is the first release under his own name. This album has seen MacIntyre work with a producer for the first time (Loss, Us and This Is Hope were all self-produced). The new album is produced by Nick Franglen from Lemon Jelly, with artwork by designer/illustrator Jo Burton.
