Colin George

Colin George (born 1929 in Pembroke Dock, Wales) is a British actor and director. He is known for his many roles in numerous theatre productions as well as the founder of the Crucible Theatre (project time period 1945-68).
Colin George was also a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company during the years 1994-1999, in productions like: Peer Gynt, Coriolanus, Measure for Measure, Les Enfants du Paradis, The Merchant of Venice and The Tempest.
Other appearances include the TV series. One of the most recent ones is The Doctors (2005) .
George has also directed many plays including Anthony and Cleopatra and A Man For All Seasons, Richard III, Autumn Crocus, The Merchant of Venice, The Chairs and The Persians, The Boyfriend and The Heiress and The Stirrings on Sheffield on a Saturday Night.
