The Colibri Group is a corporation based in Providence, Rhode Island, with subsidiaries that include Colibri, Seth Thomas Clock Company, Krementz Jewelry, and Dolan-Bullock. The Colibri brand is best known for its high-end cigarette lighters and other luxury gift items. In 2005, CITIC Provident, a private equity subsidiary of China's CITIC Group announced its intentions to buy the Colibri Group in order to increase its presence in China.[1]
