Colegio de San Lorenzo (also called "CDSL" or "San Lo") is a private Catholic institution located in Quezon city and in Macabebe, Pampanga. CDSL first opened in 1988 the instution is a well-known college in Metro Manila and Pampanga. Students of Colegio de San Lorenzo are also known as "Ruizians"

On the 18th of October 1987, as San Lorenzo Ruiz' canonization rites at St. Peter's in Rome began, the cornerstone laying ceremonies of Colegio de San Lorenzo in Quezon City solemly proceeded. The founders dedicated the school to San Lorenzo to honor and perpetuate the memory of the first Filipino saint and to let the youth emulate the virtues that led to his sainthood.

During the initial year, 1988-1989, the school building was a two-story edifice with 14 rooms; 12 were used as classrooms, the other two as administrative office and for student service. Construction of a three story wing facing Jupiter St. began in 1989 envisioning its additional 15 classrooms to meet needs of increasing student population for the next two school years. The ten classroom two-story building fronting Congressional Avenue was ready in the fifth year of the school's operations. The fifth year saw not only the completion of student services facilities but also the development of the adjacent lot for a separate wing for the Preschoolers and primary pupils. Colegio de San Lorenzo is today's response to the call for the laity's greater involvement in the educational apostolate . This institution is dedicated to the total formation of the Catholic Filipino youth who, like San Lorenzo Ruiz, will live their lives in service of God.
