The Coleford Music Festival is a free two day rock/metal/punk and ska influenced festival held annually in Coleford, Gloucestershire in the heart of the Forest of Dean in the UK. It takes place in late May every year and has been running since 1999. Since the festival's humble beginnings, the event has gone on to become the counties biggest music event, attracting over 20,000 visitors annually.

The event receives support from businesses, personalities, councils, shopkeepers and community groups. Early supporters included Coleford Amateur Dramatic Society, the local Secondary School Steel Band, an arts program, Artspace, Engage Foundation, Letts Education, and Solicitors, Publicans, Shopkeepers and the Countryside Agency, as well as the artists and entertainers who perform.

The two day free festival features four performance areas surrounding a central stage in the Town Centre beneath the Clock Tower. Scattered around the stages are market stalls selling gifts, collectables and fruit and veg, along with various street performers.

The team includes individuals with specialist skills in artistry, music making, sculpture and performance art, marketing, graphics, promotions, accountancy, technical stage management, administration, sales, PR, community links, and health and safety. The voluntary committee meets weekly from September until June, and at regular intervals in between.

  • The festival advertising was designed by Adam J. Pearce from 2004 to 2006.
  • The 2008 festival was cancelled due to lack of funds and ever increasing Health and Safety costs.
