Coleen Sommer

Coleen Sommer (born June 6, 1960) is a retired high jumper from the United States, who was born as Coleen Rienstra. She represented her native country at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. She set her personal best (1.98 metres) on 1982-06-26 in Durham.
As a student at Arizona State University, she captured two national collegiate (AIAW) championships. In addition to a pair of U.S. national championship, Sommer also claimed two Pan-Am titles. She missed the 1984 Summer Olympics while on maternity leave.
