[edit] Personal life
In 1990, Nolan married Shane Richie and they had two children together before divorcing in 1999. She gave birth to a daughter, Ciara on Tuesday 19 June 2001 and became engaged to her longterm boyfriend Ray Fensome who proposed on her 40th birthday in 2005. They married on 3 November 2007. She admitted on Loose Women to having sex twice on her wedding night, as well as falling pregnant with Ciara within the first week of her relationship.
She has undertaken charity work for the Alzheimer's Society including cycling the River Nile in Egypt - a cause she supports as her mother was a sufferer.
Nolan's mother died on December 30, 2007[1][2]. It was announced in the Daily Mirror newspaper on 2 January that Coleen would be delaying her return to the ITV Daytime chat show Loose Women to spend time with her family following her mother's death.
She has recently announced that she 'would love to appear' on ITV1's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and, despite having meetings with the show's producers, has never got a call back.
[edit] Recent work
In 2007 she featured in adverts for the UK supermarket Iceland along with her sister Bernie and her former Loose Women colleague, Kerry Katona. She also has a weekly page in Woman magazine and gives parental advice in Thursday's Daily Mirror. In early 2008, it was reported that, through various slimming techniques, Nolan had "dropped five dress sizes in a year".[3]
In April 2008 she helped launch Sentry Parental Controls[4], a real-time content-control software that protects children from inappropriate content on the Internet.
