Cole Norbeck

Cole Norbeck is a fictional character on the daytime soap opera As the World Turns. Cole showed up out of the blue with his girl friend Sofie in tow to pursue a music career. Shortly after arriving Sofie meets Gwen and tries to get her to help out her boyfriend with his career. Not knowing that it was Cole Gwen agreed. Once Gwen discovered it was Cole Sofie wanted her to help, Gwen refused to help since Cole had abandoned her ten years prior to escape their alcoholic mother. Soon after Cole finds out that Sofie is pregnant and fears it will interrupt his career. He seeks his mother Iris's help and plans to get Sofie to get rid of the baby. Sofie agreed but backed out at the last minute. She kept this information from Cole but Gwen accidentally revealed this news when she was tring to reestablish a relationship with Cole. Cole is currently mad at Sofie and still does not want the baby. As far as his career is concerned he has not had a big break yet and will not listen to Gwen since she laughed at his demo. Cole also has a rivalry with Aaron Snyder, whom he fears is getting too close to Sofie. He was played by Chris Heuisler from July 1, 2007 to December 4, 2007 and returned on March 14, and is set to return once again on June 6th, 2008.
