The Coimbatore Golf Club is a 18 hole golf course located in the village of Chettipalayam on the outskirts of Coimbatore city in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The Club is also a popular venue for major Golf Tournaments held in India.

The club was formed by few enthusiasts in Coimbatore in 1977,who till then used to drive up to the Golf courses in Ooty, Coonor and Kodaikanal. Initially the Culb laid out a 9-hole course in Jail grounds in the city. Later in 1985 the Club laid out a new course designed by one of the founders G.K. Rajagopal in Chettipalayamvillage, 17 km from Coimbatore.

The Course is located in Chettipalayam village, 17 km from the city of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu state of India. Its strategic location helps people from other cities to regularly visit and play golf. The course is located in at the base of the Nilgiri Mountains.

The Club and the course has a Pro-shop,Restaurant, and a driving range. A pleasant and salubrious Coimbatore weather gives the opportunity to play golf all round the year.

The course is encompased by hundreds of exotic tropical trees giving the golfer a challenge as well as the pleasure to be on the course. The course is also rich of more than 50 species of birds and a host to large number peacocks. The Club has adopted innovative techniques in waste recycling water and using recycled water to help contribute to the Environment. The comparison of the surrounding areas gives an idea to the levels to which the trees and the greenery help the eco structure of the area.
