[edit] Town twinning
Coignières is not currently twinned with any other village. The newly re-elected mayor (Henri Pailleux, re-elected the 16th March, 2008) and his town council are currently looking for a similar sized village in southern England which may be interested in establishing a town twinning relationship with a view to student exchanges etc.
