"Spectroscopy is the study of light through light-matter interactions."

Hmm. When I do spectroscopy, I am certainly more concerned with studying matter. In a way, we must study the properties of the light we are using in order to extract information about matter, but I think my comment still holds. Mihovil 19:09, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
