[edit] Notice

A tag has been placed on Pickled eggs, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. [edit] Well

Well, that's a lot of information. But let's get started....

  • To put pictures within userboxes, use these templates:
    • {{userbox|red|blue|[[Image:Crystal kthememgr.png]]|Put your text here.}}
Image:Crystal kthememgr.png Your text here.

    • {{userbox-r|green|lightgreen|[[Image:Crystal package.png|40px]]|Your text here.}}
Your text here.

    • {{userbox-2|orange|gray|[[Image:Crystal package favourite.png|40px]]|Your text here.|[[Image:Crystal ark.png|40px]]}}
Your text here.

You can see more at Wikipedia:Userboxes. Now onto other stuff....

[edit] More

You put images in WIikipedia pages with a simple tag: [[Image:Example.jpg]] . Now, there is extended image syntax, which defines many more elements. Read all about that at Wikipedia:Extended image syntax. Now, to mark an article as a stub, the short form would be to put {{stub}} on the page. Now, if it falls into more categories (which it should), you'll want to put other templates on it, of which you can find at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Stub_sorting/Stub_types. You should check your talk page whenever you get a message at the top saying You have new messages. Read about that at WP:TP. Lastly, UTC stands for Universal Coordinated Time, the world time standard. Leave me another message when you need more. Alex43223 T | C | E 01:01, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] More

Well, there are a couple ways. The easiest for userboxes is this code (replace Your boxes here. with the boxes):

{{userboxtop}} Your boxes here. {{userboxbottom}}

Now, the other way is handy if you have about 12 or more boxes. It creates a scroll bar, so you can easily navigate the boxes.

{|name="userboxes" id="userboxes" style="margin-left: 1em;; margin-bottom: 0.5em; width: 275px; border: #99B3FF solid 1px; background-color: #FFFFFF; color: #000000; float: right; " |<div style="text-align: center; font-size: 120%; font-weight: bold;">[[Wikipedia:Userboxes|Userboxes]]</div><!--{{userboxtop}} mod--> <div style="width: 265px; margin: auto;"> <div style="overflow: auto; background: transparent; height: 450px;"> Your boxes here. </div> </div> {{userboxbottom}}

By large icons, do you mean to navigate around your user space? You'll have to tell me that.

As for contributing to other Wikipedias, you can contribute to them the same as you do here...just in their language. Translations are also always helpful if you know another language.

To give barnstars to another Wikipedian, just visit WP:BARN, select the type that you want, and post a message on their talk page with the code. It's that simple.

Lastly, to display math formulas, it's simple. To display the text you put on my talk page, you'd use:
<math> 12 + 23 = 351 </math><math>\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{3}=\frac{2}{3}</math> which would produce...

12 + 23 = 351\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{3}=\frac{2}{3}

It's pretty simple after you get used to it. Read about more math functions at m:Help:Displaying a formula. Anything else? Alex43223 T | C | E 20:36, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Refs

Well, if your concern is with citing outside sources, then I would recommend using the ciation templates listed at Wikipedia:Citation templates. Read up on Wikipedia:Footnotes to see how to insert them into an article. Alex43223 T | C | E 05:05, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Enjoy!

[edit] Re:contributions

Well, if I understand your question correctly, then I guess my answer would be that it's not possible to track who's making contributions and harass them, however recently, with the developments of CheckUser, it is possible to find out the IP Addresses of any account if and only if needed. IPs can then be traced, but unless you're some kind of law enforcement, you generally can't pinpoint the exact location of the IP, as most IPs are dynamic and change frequently.

Now, the formula can be displayed as

<math>\lim_{x\rightarrow x_0} f(x)=f(x_0)</math>

\lim_{x\rightarrow x_0} f(x)=f(x_0).
