[edit] Spelling

The correct spelling is Coeurl, not Couerl. That's the way it appears in the original novel of A. E. Van Vogt, The Voyage of the Space Beagle. It also appears in this form in several versions of the Final Fantasy video game. How can we solve this spelling problem? There is already an article Coeurl which redirects to Final Fantasy bestiary. "Its skin coloration is not mentioned, but it may be inferred from the title of the story that it is black."

Does it not have fur? Since it's cat-like I kind of assumed it did. --Iustinus 20:58, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
