Coelbren
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Coelbren may mean:
- A village in the south-west of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Powys. It is some six miles from Ystradgynlais and lies close to Sgwd Henrhyd, a high waterfall.
- an alphabet used on strips of wood by bards and druids in Britain. This was a claim made by Iolo Morganwg (1747-1826). Much of Iolo Morganwg's output was invention: the coelbren alphabet is generally considered to be part of that invention. [1][2]
