Coega

The Coega Industrial Development Zone (IDZ) covering 110 km² of land [1], situated in the Nelson Mandela Municipality, Eastern Cape province of South Africa near Port Elizabeth.
A new deep water port is being built at Coega to accommodate coal exports from the region that were previously handled by the dock at Port Elizabeth.
