[edit] KND might as well be done
unfortunattly the cartoonetwork page on wikipedia says its going to stop makeing new episodes PERMENATLY! on december 10th... man am i UPSET! but we may as well put in on the article
any agreements? Godzillastar 04:24, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
i agree ill be super pissed, i dont even remember watching any episodes last year and they say 2002-2008 yea right. im telling you cartoon network is going downhill....Fast. if they keep booting all their great cartoons(teen titans, juniper lee, hihi puffy ami yumi, grim adventures, courage the cowardly dog, Ed ed and eddy, etc) noone will watch the channel. id rather watch codename kids next door than chowder or out of jimmys head or george of the jungle, those definitley need to get booted. the cartoons from the 90's would get more views than the new shit they aim at us now.
seriously only a few decent cartoons are left. fosters home, and some other shows but basically reruns. anyways cartoon networks future is looking like shit. i hate the new layout design "Fall is something that grownups invented" wtf? what happend to the 3d world were all the cartoons interacted with one another bring that back. seriously am i the only long time cartoon network watcher who feels this way. >:0 i try to give the new shows a chance but i just cant, seeing how crappy they are and try to be funny, when their not. i even want the original fridays back with tommy and zinga or tara. FUCK FRIED DYNAMITE. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lizainfini (talk • contribs) 14:55, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Dude I totally agree with what your sayin. I mean THE MINUTE Cartoon Network relaunched itself, the first thing I said was, Oh shit, somthin bad just happened. Also, you are not alone I also feel that. Even if Cartoon Network TRIED to make an atempt @ goin back to normal, they r sunk. I may think dat Cartoon Network was trashed the minute it relaunched, but if you dig deeper, youll find out that Cartoon Network REALLY went overboard when Jim Samples (old head of CN untill he was fired because of Adult Swim bomb threat) was fired!Crips r us (talk) 01:17, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
I agree too. I just wanna know what is going through these peoples' heads with all these "improvements" they're doing! Cartoon Network was like the best channel to watch classic cartoons. Ones that were ACTUALLY FUNNY. Now ever since they got rid of shows like Cow & Chicken, Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, Tom & Jerry, etc., it's just been BLAH. And why DID they get rid of the thing they did every Friday? A few years ago, they would have cartoon characters like Muriel from Courage the Cowardly Dog or Johnny Bravo hosting Fridays. That was the best. I didn't mind that they changed it and had real people hosting Fridays, that was fine. I actually liked it a lot. But now they've completely gotten rid of it! This really sucks... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.225.128.144 (talk) 03:12, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Tagged notability, unreferenced
Multiple character articles will be tagged for deletion due to their failure to meet WP:NOT#PLOT and WP:FICT. Does not satisfy the notability guideline for fiction and lack secondary sources (real world information). No current assertion for improvement exists. « ₣ullMetal ₣alcon » 22:37, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tag
Could someone explain exactly what part of this is written in a "in universe style". Other than the character descriptions, I'm not seeing anything. Hobit (talk) 01:04, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Operation INTERVIEWS
The finale is airing on 21/01/08. We're gonna need information on it. --Dinocorules (talk) 08:23, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Sector V.png
Image:Sector V.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] I thought it was Sector B
I thought they were in Sector B —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.181.255.18 (talk) 01:01, 22 January 2008 (UTC) You've must've heard it wrong —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.181.255.18 (talk) 07:45, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Show cancellations
I read an article (print) some time ago (late/mid 2007) which commented that some of the shows which were being canceled. The article commented some recieved cancelation were due not only to the fact had ran their course but that some shows were being discontinued due to their content not truly being children friendly. These reasons include violence, semi-mature theme, inappropriate humor. It went on to say these were fine after hours but didnt feel they were appropriate during the primetime/daytime hours. I remember reading the article ans saying WTF. This was not the main focus of the article, which was about contemporary animation programming. I dont remember if the person commenting was a rep for CN or just someone with a bug up their @$$.
I'm looking through my magazine stacks to see if i can find it.
If this is the case, i doubt Chowder will do much for assisting the fight against childhood obesity.
I'll miss KND. When I first saw the previews to it years ago, my first thoughts were "oh great this is going to suck" by second episode I was an avid fan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ga1lyons (talk • contribs) 22:07, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Not children friendly Bullshit, are you serious if that was the case they would have gotten rid of the show years ago. i was 13 when KND came out and i thought it was cool. look at Tom and Jerry anyways ratings count right if lots of people are still watching these good cartoons they should keep them, theres no such thing as to many seasons. atleast nowadays. now im seeing reruns but i didnt see any episodes last year, what gives? did they get lazy. they havent even had 100 eps but they wanna cancel that shit pisses me off. lemme tell ya i have a 7 year old brother that i watch the channel with and mind you i do not like anything I REPEAT ANYTHING that the channel has to offer. almost everything new that came from september 2007 SUCKS and ive seen commercials of future shows MY GUESS IS THAT THEY WILL FAIL AS WELL. Rest in peace Cartoon Network 1992-2006.
That show was awesome. I just can't believe that Cartoon Network is cancelling Kids Next Door. Even though there won't be any more new episodes doesn't mean that everyone's gonna hate the reruns and complaining for new episodes. But that's stretching it. NOT CHILDREN FRIENDLY?! That's really retarded. It's not like kids are randomly taking hammers and screwdrivers and building lasers and whatever is in KND.
And Chowder can't possibly replace Kids Next Door. No way. Aint believing it.
- Normally, I'd put up the WP:NOT#FORUM here, but I must admit, I and a lot of the critics agree with you all. With the airing of Out of Jimmy's Head, Cartoon Network is betraying its own principles. Of course, Cartoon Network first really went wrong when it pulled the Looney Tunes (and, in case we have any H-B admirers here) and the Hanna-Barbara cartoons off the air; I have no doubt that that raised some ire. Just be thankful we have the classics on DVD now. — Cinemaniac (talk • contribs) 02:59, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
(Yeah, I like Hanna-Barbara.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Numbuh 463 (talk • contribs) 02:27, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Massive Overhaul Needed
I've just tagged the article for multiple issues, including original research, trivia, lack of referencing, tone, etc.. Anyone interested in giving this article the cleanup it deserves can contact me. — Cinemaniac (talk • contribs) 00:09, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah it's true. It does need somethings done to it like certain things need to be referenced. Alot of unregistered users like to mess with this page and it gets reverted back everyday. It needs to be protected to be honest.Mcelite (talk) 00:11, 2 February 2008 (UTC)mcelite

- In any case, I'm moving the tag to the bottom of the page, instead of the top, that way a user will not miss out on any useful information the article has just because they suspected the article because of a {{multiple issues}} tag. - I don't think that's a valid reason to move it to the bottom of the page. If the tag is there then the article has issues that have to be resolved for it to be removed. For that reason it has to stay at the top, so people know of them. If the tag is at the bottom and a person sees it there, they'll think they've wasted their time reading an article that may be innacurate. By staying where it did, it fulfills its original purpose of a warning. —T-borg (T | C) 20:52, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ankle Biters
I noticed that "ankle biters" redirects to this page, but no indication is given as to why. Neither term appears anywhere in the article that would give any indication of why either. 216.36.186.2 (talk) 12:46, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
That page linking you to this page is weird but I know that one of the episodes deals with the KND from sector V liberating new-borns from the hospital, calling themselves "Ankle Biters", because #1 believes that the adults are trying to brainwash kids from the moment they are born. The plot twists when Sector V finds out that in fact the new-borns are planning to take out the adults and the KND. The leader of the new-borns announces to his group of babies "Ankle Biters ATTACK!". Leading us to believe that the new-born group is called "The Ankle Biters". 20:25, 18 MAY 2008
