Cobham plc (LSE: COB) is a British manufacturing company based in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, England. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
Cobham was founded as Flight Refuelling Ltd. (FRL) in 1934 by Sir Alan Cobham, who remained chairman until 1969. It was initially involved in the nascent aerial refueling market, and now supplies a range of products to the aerospace, defence, communications, law enforcement and national security industries. Air refueling equipment now makes up only 10% of revenue and the company's focus is now defence electronics.

It is organised into three core technology divisions: Mission Systems, Defence Electronic Systems and Avionics and Surveillance. There is also an Aviation Services division.
David Turner is to be appointed as Chairman in May 2008. CEO Allan Cook has been with the company since 2001 and Warren Tucker, CFO since 2003.
In January 2008 Cobham plc released that it will purchase Sparta Inc.
The company created Cobham Sports and Social Club, a members club in Merley, near to the main manufacturing site.
