[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:TianjinUniv-logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:TianjinUniv-logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:China Map.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:China Map.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. nat Alo! Salut! Sunt eu, un haiduc?!?! 03:04, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: WP:3RR warning
Hello. I advise you to learn what the 3RR is before giving someone a warning. See also Wikipedia:Consensus. There are certainly ill-mannered kids who push their views without giving any rationale on the talk page. I hope you will not be one of them.
I reverted the South Korea section because the controversial change is not discussed (and to prevent my fair-use image from being deleted). I will work on the character 夷 later since I'm busy in real life. I hope you will explain your position on the talk page (for example, why do you assert my oracle script graphemes are "fabricated"?). --Nanshu 22:27, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Please see my response to your report: [2] I realize you have not reverted as much as Nanshu; still, you need to stop doing so. It's still edit warring, even if someone else is more guilty than you. You may wish to pursue dispute resolution. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 06:44, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
I'd like to separate user-behavior stuff from the discussion of content. User talk pages for the former and Talk:Dongyi for the latter. When I said, "I hope you will explain your position on the talk page", I meant Talk:Dongyi. Sorry if it wasn't clear.
I don't want to bite newcomers (WP:BITE), but I afraid you do things the wrong way. If you think my opinion is biased, then use Talk:Dongyi for discussion. Wikipedia works fundamentally by building consensus (see Wikipedia:Consensus).
And you know "the corps thing" is supported at least by one (prominent) scholar. If you think it's not a neutral fact but just an opinion, what you should do is to clarify that, not insult me by labeling my image as "fabricated". --Nanshu 09:38, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Jill King
An editor has nominated Jill King, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jill King and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 17:44, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
