[edit] GA on hold

  • The coat of arms needs a valid fair use rationale for each article that it belongs in.
  • Resolved.
I was unaware that the image was non-free. I have in fact replaced it with a free version that was available on Commons. Thanks for pointing it out. -- Chris Btalk 14:13, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
  • This article isn't that broad in its coverage. It doesn't describe what exactly any of the coat of arms means. What does the tree mean? What do the 3 trees mean? What is the blue stuff under the trees? Things like that need to be answered in the article.

  • Alava has an accent in its first mention but not in its second, best to stay consistent.

That's pretty much it, but a pretty fascinating article so far. Just fix those problems and leave a note on my talk page and I'll come back to check. T Rex | talk 05:47, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for meeting my concerns. This article has passed as a GA. You may want to take a look at Coat of arms of Canada or Coat of arms of Amsterdam for ideas on improving it. Congratulations! T Rex | talk 03:07, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
