Talk:Coaching inn

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've added a few things here and there to make the article less Eurocentric- hopefully it has helped? I assume this is now understandable to English-speakers who have never visited England? Can any (Americans/Australians/Canadians etc) please confirm if this is the case?

Thanks!

[edit] Intro

The intro here jumps straight into the history of these inns without saying what they are. It would be nice if somebody who knows about coaching inns (i.e. not me) could define the term in the first sentence of the introduction. Also, the description section says these inns were traditionally seven miles apart but doesn't explain why. It sounds like an interesting tidbit and would benefit from some more explanation. --Ddawn23 07:58, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
