The coat of arms of El Hatillo Municipality, Miranda features the Santa Rosalía de Palremo church in the lower part, and a sun over the basic shape of the seal. On the left is featured the flag of Venezuela; on the right is the flag of Miranda State. The dates represent—from left to right—the first step to the independence of Venezuela, the foundation of El Hatillo Town, and the incorporation of the municipality. The coat of arms appears in the flag of El Hatillo.
