Coalfield is an unincorporated town in Morgan County, Tennessee, United States. Coalfield is between Wartburg and Oliver Springs on Tennessee State Route 62. Coalfield was a mining community, hence the name, and formerly the home of Coalfield Camp No. 1 and Coalfield Camp No. 2. Frozen Head State Park and the nearby town of Joyner, Tennessee are to the west. The community is almost exclusively white. It is the home to Coalfield School, which use the Yellow Jackets as the mascot for their sports teams. Robert (Bob) Bennett is the current principal.
