Coal Point is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia, and is located on a peninsula southeast of the town of Toronto on the western side of Lake Macquarie.

Coal mining was performed at Coal Point from 1841 to around 1906. A public school opened in 1955.
