The Coaching Association of Canada(CAC) is a not-for-profit amateur sport organization with the mandate to improve the effectiveness of coaching across all levels of the sport system. Its mission is to enhance the experiences of all Canadian athletes through quality coaching.
CAC was established in 1970 as a result of recommendations of the Task Force on Sport for Canadians. Since its inception, CAC has developed into a world leader in coach training and certification. From community to high performance sport, coaches deserve quality education, training, support, and recognition for their contribution to Canadian society as a whole, all of which CAC provides.
CAC and its partners deliver a leading edge coaching system that has a goal of reaching 100,000 NCCP-trained coaches who will impact 1,000,000 athletes each year by 2010.
