This article really belongs at Co-operatives UK, where most of the incoming links go. This is the more common spelling in the UK, and is how most of the incoming links are spelled.

[edit] Removed presumed vandalism
An unregistered editor added "what's the advantages and disadvantages?" to the bottom of the main article. Being charitable, I could assume they were requesting more detailed information about the advantages or otherwise of starting/joining a co-op, but it wouldn't be relevant content for this article and the same IP address also added homophobic abuse to the talk page, so both comments have been deleted.
