[edit] Core & Merit CCAs?

Cakeman, seeing that you come from the same school as me (ahem), would you like to verify if it is true that all schools in Singapore have both Core & Merit CCAs, or term them as such?--Ariedartin 15:05, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm from Temasek Poly and I know we don't have those Core & Merit thingies. But if my memory serves me correctly, back in secondary school, students must have a "Core CCA" (I'll include that in the article) and you may call the second/third/etc CCA/s Merit CCAs. Just most of us don't call it that.--Clockword

Should we include the fact that the government renamed it to core CCAs instead of ECAs to force students to go for their trainings because the students and parents alike thought they were "extra" and skipped them? The merit CCA now takes the place of ECAs. --Terrancommander 15:41, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Minor discrepancies

Please post your queries - should they be concerned with one or two details of the article, and not one large chunk of it (open out new sections for those, please) - here.

With that having been said, let me address my point of contention: Shouldn't the Harmonica and Keyboard Ensemble (currently under Clubs and Societies) be under Performing Arts instead? --Starry maiden Gazer 07:53, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
