CNA (bookstore)

CNA, originally the Central News Agency, is a multi purpose store selling books, gifts, games, multimedia, music, stationery and toys, based in South Africa.

CNA is one of the oldest retail brands in Southern Africa, having commenced trading in 1896. CNA was acquired by Edcon, itself one of Southern Africa's leading retailers, in November 2002.

CNA operates 210 stores throughout Southern Africa, employing more than 1000 people. Most of the stock held in CNA stores is available online at the CNA web site.
