Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Chris Moxon may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. By starting an account or logging in, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- JoanneB 17:17, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi Chris, I thought you might not want to lose all the information that you put in that article, so I moved it to your User page. If you have any questions about this, feel free to contact me. --JoanneB 17:20, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
Seriously though, please don't recreate that page time and time again! --JoanneB 17:21, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi, I just deleted this page again. If people think you're using Wikipedia to try to promote yourself, they won't usually appreciate it. See WP:AUTO for some reasons it's not a good idea to make an article about yourself. Friday (talk) 20:37, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
I don't really appreciate you deleting my pages, I am not trying to 'promote' myself, but merely state who and what it is that I do.
Well, if you seriously believe information about you belongs in an encyclopedia, that's another matter. I would advise you to become familiar with guidelines like WP:BIO and WP:NOT in that case, though. Also, I notice people other than me deleted this article and even moved it to your user page previously, tho, so I don't think it's just me who thought it was inappropriate for article space. However, if you really want me to, I will undelete the article and list it on articles for deletion instead, but I personally recommend against this course of action. [edit] Notability

See WP:BIO for inclusion guidelines for individuals. Also, please be aware that articles here are expected to be verifiable using reliable sources, so writing from your own personal knowledge about yourself or people you know isn't generally a very good idea. [edit] Deletion

Dear Chris, I have nominated your self-titled article for deletion. There is a place you can reach via the page where you can make your case for your page's importance. You will need to provide evidence of notability in terms of your having been written about in 3rd party sources, unconnected with your club, job or self, or links to books you yourself have published etc. The Wikipedia does not support vanity pages, and since only *this* page and the page of your local club link to that page, and since it has very few actual page-views, it will probably be deleted unless you can prove notability. After it is deleted by consensus, you will not be able to rebuild it. Just thought it was fair to tell you. Saudade7 13:16, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
