[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:CamecoLogo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:CamecoLogo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 03:39, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Support

I would like you to know that I express full support with the Wikibooks proposal logo that you have passed at Meta. Nice work! -- Felipe Aira 12:42, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of User:Cmelbye/Vandal Test

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. cmelbyetalk! 03:52, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikibooks logo submission

Hey, I really like the logo you submitted http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:WikiBooks.png. I think I'm going to make an SVG version. I'll also make a grayscale version, and black and white. afarnen talk 06:12, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

One question, what's the font you used, to provide easy language translations? afarnen talk 06:27, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Uploading of new photo, Gerald Mohr page

Hi! You wrote that the answer to my question which I posted yesterday had been answered - I cannot find an answer! I wish to change the photo that I put up before but now cannot find the path and method to do so.Wood200 (talk) 12:59, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

You said "Wikipedia isn't for advertising products, its for writing information about products. If you have any other questions, please feel free to leave a message"

I'm sorry, but you've just described the same thing. How many adverts have you read that don't write information about the product?

Or are you saying that if someone writes a page advertising someone else's product, that's acceptable, but writing a page about something that you have created isn't? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Classic rock radio (talkcontribs) 23:05, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Logo

I advice you to check http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikibooks/Logo/Proposal/D#Copyright_Violations . There has been problems and you would be a lot of help. -- Felipe Aira 13:57, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
