CM Lodestar
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The CM Lodestar Electric Chain hoist, first produced in 1955, is a chain hoist used extensively in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, entertainment, energy, oil, and wind power generating.
It is manufactured in the United States by the Columbus McKinnon Corporation based in Amherst, New York, and distributed around the world.
The hoist is designed to run 'either way up' - it can be fixed to a load and climb its chain, or it can be fixed to a rigging point, in which case the chain moves up or down beneath it.
