I've tidied this poor entry up, certain parts have had to be removed or changed.
For example as a Civil Parish no way is CSM a hamlet, or a suburb of Exeter.
I've updated the population to the 2004 mid year estimates

[edit] Largest Employers?
With Friends Provident employing hundreds of staff, along with the regional DEFRA site on the outskirts of Clyst St. Mary this seems a little unbelievable unless the village boundary does not include Winslade Park. I think notable is a bit strong, I have lived within 5 miles of here most of my life and I have only heard of one of the companies listed.JamesFitz 11:20, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
