Talk:Clyde Tunnel
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- The tunnels are each 762 metres (2,500 feet) long with a gradient approaching 6 degrees or 1:16.
Someone miscalculated here. A gradient of 6° is 10.5% or 1:9.5, while a 1:16 gradient is just 3.6°. As I cannot judge what the correct number is, I removed the bit about the gradient altogether.

- My mistake. I double checked my source and it's 6%, not 6 degrees, which is around 1:16. I've made the correction. --Erath 16:05, 21 July 2005 (UTC)
