Consensus requested regarding notability of subject and encyclopedic style of article.

[edit] Is article mainly self-promotion?

Is this article serving primarily as a self-promotional website for the subject? 22:57, 2 April 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Monkeyzpop (talkcontribs)

Do you have any evidence to suggest it is self-promotion? The article seems very one-sided in that it doesn't have any reliable third-party sources, but I don't see any solid evidence to suggest it is spam or even a resume. —BradV 06:00, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Only that it seems quite resumé-like and that virtually all actual information comes from apparently one person (who created the article as Bond2234 and then seems to have switched from that now-defunct Username to a single IP, 208.127.141.117. Also every page that links to this page has contributions about Lucas from this same IP. It seems as though Lucas is promoting his own work. While there's nothing wrong with that, it suggests non-objectivity, and self-promotion combined with lack of citations troubles me. 07:30, 3 April 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Monkeyzpop (talkcontribs)
I've added a suspected autobiography tag. Unfortunately it is very common for people to put their resume on Wikipedia, and a large amount of work is required by others to fix the article. It looks like the subject might pass the notability requirements (just barely), but there certainly aren't enough references to verify the information.

I'm also removing the RfC tag as the article has been properly tagged. RfC's are used as part of the dispute resolution process, not the article cleanup process. —BradV 16:21, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
