[edit] Your edit to Business cluster & Cluster development
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Cluster development do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 08:24, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
But the links are only showcasing the work done by reputed agencies like UNIDO , USAID World Bank , IFC & Global development agencies , they do not need any publicity nether do we need. We are very busy with our work. I thought it was a genuine effort but it seems you are very selective of what you want & are not interested in people knowing about the serious work happening in the field of economic development....Jagat Shah User : Cluster Pulse
- We noticed your link-additions on the linkfeeds, which were all linked to your username. You might want to read the guidelines WP:EL and WP:COI in this respect. When evaluating your additions, they seem more to be for external links than for information (consider using Cluster Pulse i.s.o. http://www.clusterpulse.com, which would be more neutral). You are of course free to add content, but external links should be more to attribute then to provide a link, WP:CITE can be of help there (see also the other policies and guidelines in the welcome message). Sorry that your additions have been reverted, but I hope this explanation helps. Have a nice day! --Dirk Beetstra T C 09:27, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
