[edit] Football player honours

Hi. I reverted a few changes you made to player articles because they went against the guidelines for how to list honours at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players, but I now realise that you've changed quite a few so I wanted to discuss it before reverting further. Is there advice somewhere else that suggests the format you've been changing them to? Cordless Larry (talk) 10:43, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi back! Yeah, I added basically to the whole Carling Cup winning players. For format, just went to a couple I knew had honours and copied format. Did find a couple different, so went with a clean style I liked. Wasn't until I'd done nearly all of them I thought I should look whether there was a guideline or template. Was tossing up myself whether to go back through and change to style as per football players format (happy to do that), but thought maybe leave it till tomorrow to see if that was consistent with other sports honours formats. --ClubOranje (talk) 11:06, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
It still seems to be a bit up in the air, despite what is said at WikiProject Football. The most popular format seems to be to organise by club rather than by trophy, e.g. Pelé, Ryan Giggs, Thierry Henry, Pat Jennings, but there are plenty that don't conform to that as well. Perhaps we should take the opportunity to establish an agreed format. Cordless Larry (talk) 11:41, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Luka Modric goals statistics

Hello once again. I noticed you have made a fair number of decent edits and contributions to the Luka Modric page. I had one minor issue I thought I might bring up though. The last goal record you put for the player is 27 goals in 90 appearances for Dinamo. However, the bottom of the info box says that this is correct as of 16 March 2008, meaning there is more to be added to these statistics. My guess is that this is just an error, and that the current stats are correct as of his latest game and that you or anyone else just forgot to update the 'correct as of' date on there. Still, there is the possibility that the current stats are NOT correct, meaning there is more to be added. I am quite happy to fix up the stats as I have access to such resources that allow me to search back many games and see how many goals any certain player has scored. Please get back to me and let me know. I will fix it up if need be to the correct stats if not already. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Domiy (talkcontribs) 23:08, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Domiy, if you have a reliable source for player stats, please update Luka Modric per that source. Take care to ensure the numbers are for league games only, not cup or friendly games. Whether we agree or not, the consensus is league only and the template configured to reflect this in the notes.--ClubOranjeTalk 04:59, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I do have a very reliable source which lists games and their scorers for a fair while back. I shall update it to a correct amount then, judging by the league ONLY as usual. I will start counting based on the specified last update date then. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Domiy (talkcontribs) 08:29, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
