Talk:Club Hel (The Matrix)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"This nightclub appears to cater to people with goth and other fetishes."
So goth is a fetish now, not a subculture?

Good rewrite, but:
- Do we really need the summary of what happens in the club? Those details would be better in the article on The Matrix Revolutions, with this article limited only to a description of the place (in which case, the article would be short enough to merge into The City (The Matrix) or Matrix (fictional universe)).
- I've removed the suggestion that the setting reflects Larry Wachowski's personal life because it's not verifiable by reliable sources.
- Unless the suggestion of the mythological references can be verified in a similar fashion (which I doubt), they should be removed as they're arguably original research.

Yeah i dunno what was up with that dominatrix thing, it was in the old article. I think the 1 paragraph of events is fine and not too long or tangental because it does primarily deal with the gaurds, I left trinity's mexican standoff thing that was in the original article, the majority of these articles have small descriptions of events that are comlimentary to the setting, such as the deus ex machina event in "matrix (fictional universe)" article.
As for the interpretations ... In the merovingian article there is a "Trivia and Speculation on the Merovingian's Origins" section that is quite long and inclusive. Maybe i will elaborate and subcatagorize trivia (like "hel" is the root word from which "hell" is derived) etc...which can be cited. Solidusspriggan 16:03, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
The Dominatrix re-write is ever important, as it gives a contextual history to the origin of the Clubs' developement. As-well, Goth can be apart of Fetish (to have a fetish for goth).
Didn't the Oracle mention in Enter the Matrix that Trinity would have to fight her way through hell to save Neo? Or, should I say, Hel?
- No, it was the Merovingian who said "You have fought through Hel to get here." Or something to that effect. Super Jedi Droid 18:55, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
