Clumsy Smurf is a male fictional character from the Smurfs.

[edit] Character

A somewhat dimwitted but amiable smurf, he is distinguished by his baggy cap and his eponymous maladroitness. He is known for his hobby of collecting rocks. In one episode he was confined to his house for seven years after breaking Vanity's mirror, due to the bad-luck curse poisoning the village. He exiled himself to the forest. The same night a meteor demolished the house, and the other smurfs, thinking him killed, eulogized him passionately. Though not terribly bright, a klutz, and a terrible smurfball player, he is a good and caring friend. When Brainy lost his glasses once, and being extremely nearsighted, depended on Clumsy to guide him along. Clumsy faithfully led his poor blind friend about for days while Papa Smurf went on a quest to get him new glasses. He is the best (and only) friend to Brainy Smurf.

In the original book by Peyo the main running gag with Clumsy was the fact he always was brining opposite/different/or having similar sounding names object, witch somebody order him to bring. Once during the election a smurf ask him to vote for Brainy, not him, knowing he will do the opposite thing, but eventually Clumsy went and vote for Brainy. In the movie The Smurfs and the Magic Flute he was shown as the Smruf who was often getting hurt/injure and was often seen in bandages ect.

Clumsy Smurf is voiced in the animated series by William Callaway.
