Clue: the Musical was a musical based on the board game Cluedo (known as Clue in North America) that premiered Off-Broadway in 1997. The musical is published by Samuel French Ltd.
At the start of each show, three audience members select one card each and place it in an envelope. Because the chosen cards determine the ending of the show with 216 possible conclusions; the cards also determine which lines the actor playing Mr. Boddy will deliver. Clue: the Musical, originally ran off-Broadway for 29 performances. An original cast recording of Clue was made, but was never released to the public, possibly due to the show's short-lived run.
