Club Gimnasia y Esgrima (usually known as Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza) is a football club from Mendoza Province, Argentina. They currently play in Torneo Argentino A, which is the regionalised third tier of the Argentine Football Association league system.
The club have played 121 games in the Argentine Primera ammassing 122 points, putting them 36th in the all time table of Argentine clubs and making them the most successful club from Mendoza Province.
They competed in the national tournaments of 1970-72, 1975, 1978, 1981-84. Their last season in the primera was their most successful, they reached the 2nd round but were beaten 5-3 on aggregate by Argentinos Juniors.
