[edit] EB Babes (Eat Bulaga! Babes)
"EB Babes" or preferred by the people as Eat Bulaga! Babes are the newest all Girl Group of the Longest Running Noontime Show, Eat Bulaga replacing the Sexbomb Girls.

When the SexBomb Girls left the show, a new dancing and singing segment was initiated in order to find replacements. The search and founding of the EB Babes was not limited to pretty faces and skinny bodies as the finalists had to undergo five weeks of grueling workshops before the Final Ten were Chosen.
They were given Personality Development Classes, Stunt Sessions and Acting Workshops. Dance Classes were also conducted, which includes Break Dancing, Jazz and Belly Dancing.
The EB Babes now serve as back-up Dancers in the Opening and Closing Credits of the show, as well as in its Game Show Portions.
Since their Debut, the EB Babes have Generated a Respectable following of Fans and many have considered them as a Worthy Replacement of the SexBomb Girls.
Fresh, Young and Beautiful, the EB Babes are composed of Lian Paz, Mergene Maranan, Saida Diola, Angel Coronel, Mae Dela Cerna, Kim Guevarra, Ann Boleche, Joyce Burgos, Madel Palma and Belle Rivera

The newly formed group’s popularity opened a path for them to guest on shows such as Nutz Entertainment, H3O and All Star K. They were also featured on the April Issue of the Popular Men’s Magazine, FHM as Cover Girls with Aina Gonzales.
Their popularity gained a number of Fan-Made groups as well. Some of them are Manokan, EB Babes Guardians, LEGS, EBBoyz, D’Bachelors, EB Babes Warriors etc…

As the EB Babes rose to Stardom, a number of people who has been known on the internet for making a mark and becoming popular as well for the EB Babes Fans. They are Manok, Ron Acap and Babydoll Lori of Manokan and Rider Blade of The Rider Team. Contributions such as giving the Fans a new taste starting with EB Babes Websites, Wallpapers or preferred to as “Rider Arts” by some people, Games of Slot Machine of Manokan and the popular Music Videos.

[edit] The Rivalry
EB Babes commonly was being compared to the former back-up dancers of Eat Bulaga, Sex Bomb Girls. This resulted in a Showdown last February 3 of 2007. One episode of Eat Bulaga! wherein some of the EB Babes were crying. Fans of their rival group stated “takot kasi sila” (they are afraid) before the Showdown occurred.

The two groups finally met each in a showdown last February 3, 2007 as requested by the public, especially the fans of both groups.
Even though there are some issues that they are fighting during that encounter, but both groups says that it's all part of that showdown.
The Sexbomb Girls are regularly seen on Mondays and Fridays while the EB Babes are seen on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
