Hi! I, CloudNine, am a student from Hertfordshire, England. I'm studying computer science at Imperial College London. I'm interested in mathematics, technology and music. My favourite bands are the Pixies, Nirvana and Hüsker Dü, along with The Beatles and Frank Black. I'm a big fan of alternative rock in general; I present a show called "American Alternative" on my college radio station. I've seen quite a few bands in concert and I have a Last.fm account.^[1]

I have made numerous contributions to Wikipedia, mostly in bringing articles to featured or good status; I am an administrator. I lately seem to have found a niche editing and improving articles about the Pixies. I created the Pixies taskforce to co-ordinate things, and am a member of its parent project, the Alternative Music Wikiproject. I also maintain the alternative music portal, and run a bot to update the project's peer review page.

By the way, I'm happy to help anyone to get up to speed with contributing to Wikipedia; everyone has something to contribute and the project always needs more experts.
