Talk:Clout: Fantasy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article constitutes possible (self-)promotion for a product and is not written from a netural viewpoint. While comprehensive, most of its claims are unsubstantiated. Xantharius 22:44, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

In fact, after closer reading of some of the sections, it is clear that this is definitely self-promotion by the makers of the game. The phrase "our partners" is used in one section, indicating that most of the article is taken from promotion material belonging to the company. Xantharius 13:13, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm not the world's best writer. So I used references from the rulebook and other promotional material. I will attempt to go in and clean it up. I do not work Clout Fantasy or Hidden City. I do play the game. If you like I can send you my personal information (privately) so that you can verify this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jirel (talk • contribs) 13:04, 2006 June 8
Hey, no need to verify your personal information. Everyone can contribute here: it just has to be written from a neutral prespective. The artwork on the chips might indeed be fantastic, but from whose viewpoint? I don't know anything about the game myself; I just happened to see this article and detected some non-Wikipedia style language. I'm sure you'll do a good job making the article more 'encyclopedic.' I do get carried away on artwork. I love it and collect it when I can. I took that sentence out.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.12.42.30 (talk • contribs) 06:11, 2006 June 9

Sorry, all of the above unsigned comments were by "Jirel" - Sorry, Jirel

I've gone over this article about three times now. I think I've gotten everything out of it that was an opinion. Could you point me to what I'm missing? I've read it so many times I'm probably missing it by now. Thanks, Jirel. BTW - not sure about including my site in the unofficial site list but Adam Conus lists it in one of the links from his blog and that was where I got my official and unofficial site list from. Can easily take it off if I should. Thanks, Jirel
