Why don't we redirect this article to Clostridium? Clostridia is just the plural, and Clostridium has more info. --Joelmills 23:47, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
The biological names don't follow the Latin directly. Clostridia is the formal name for a group that includes Clostridium, but also includes other similar bacteria, like heliobacteria. They aren't synonyms. Josh
