Much of the information from this article is culled from http://plavix.com and http://www.sanofi-synthelabous.com/products/index.html . This includes the incidences of TTP and GI bleeding.

Three of the four links to plavix.com at the end of the article are broken.

I took care of the dead links (by deleting them). Why keep the phonetic pronunciation in the first line of the article? it's not in most of the other drug articles. Ksheka 20:34, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
The single trial in the trials section is basically a copy-paste of the conclusion of the trial. Can someone do better? Important clopidogrel trials include Caprie [1] and CURE [2].Ksheka 20:43, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Das absolute Plavix

Ann Intern Med this week: PMID 17371888. JFW | T@lk 16:32, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

http://jama.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/abstract/299/18/2164 - reduces absolute risk of dialysis fistula thrombosis by 7% (NNT 14) but does not lead to a larger proportion of them becoming suitable for dialysis. Hence: not likely to be taken up due to bleeding risk unless concomitant indication (e.g. coronary stents). JFW | T@lk 12:53, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
